Now, if you have been here before you might notice an improvement (of sorts). Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING has been completely tidied away. Where is it all (I hear you ask)? Good question.
OK, so what you can see is ...
3 x A5 pages of watercolour paper ... making more backgrounds with cheap acrylic paint. Why am I using cheap acrylic paint? That's another question with no good answer.
Old ice cream container holding lots of
Some lovely Christmas cards from online friends.
Some Memory Box dies that I
White hydrangeas from my neglected garden in an ancient pottery vase I made in high school. (It's very heavy and solid, and it kinda leaks, but hey, I love it. Maybe I could paint some sort of crafty sealer on it's base? Any ideas?)
Oh, and a new (whoops, did I say "new"?) book that I

OK, if you are wondering what this is all about, go see Julia.
Love the colors and textures you've got on the backgrounds. Yep, Arizona is in a diffident time zone world. LOL Happy WOYWW! Nan 14

Who cares what day it is, your backgrounds are interesting, lovely vibrant colour. Francesca #55
ReplyDeleteGreat backgrounds. Doesn't matter how expensive or cheap the paint is if you're getting the look you want! I can definitely see why you needed those dies -- they are to "die" for -- hahahaha. Happy WOYWW on Thursday from Laura #90
ReplyDeleteLove your backgrounds and lots of interesting bits and pieces on your desk. There is cheap paint and nasty paint. I bought some nasty paint from the $2 shop and when it dried it literally cracked the canvas!! I then threw my bargain paints away and have bought middle of the line stuff. I can never resist another book so let me know how you find your new one. I am really trying to take it easy as I felt wonderful at the beginning of the week and then did some cleaning which has set me back as I popped some stitches!! oops. ordered to bed!!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we can catch up in the new year.
