Here's what's sort of happening here ...
... the next journal page (and I use the term "journal" loosely, because no "journalling" has actually happened). And I have been using that small watercolour book on the left to mop up excess sprays, which will, in turn, lead to more background pages!
In case you are bored with the journal pages, there are some tiny (mixed media) canvasses that I finished and sent with my neighbour to a market which has just started locally. (These came back but maybe they will go again next month.)
Why am I showing you this? All will be explained by Julia.
Catch you soon!
I know...I don't know where the week has gone too! This year is going too fast lol. Wow your desk is busy and I would love to see your journal page when it is finished as I love the colours that you have started using. The little canvases are GREAT and I love the stamps that you have used..where are they from?? I save all my left over mop up pages too, nothing like recycling in the world of art journaling lol! Happy WOYWW.

busy looking desk! Like the start to the journal page. The mixed media canvases looking interesting. I would keep sending them till their new home owner shows up! Sometimes it is just the right place at the right time type thing! Hope you have a great week and thanks for sharing! Vickie #41

ReplyDeleteHi Rosa
ReplyDeleteI love the way you use another little book to mop up all the left over ink/paint or whatever you have been using, great idea.
Your little canvases are looking good I am about to do some of those with modelling paste.
Welcome back, a fortnight disappears very quickly over my way as well. Love the little canvases and what a great idea to keep sending different things to get a feel for the market. The spill page is a great idea I am sure the journalling will come .. at least your pages will be ready to go! Have a good week.

Time is flying by far to quickly! Love your journal page background and your canvases are lovely - my favourite is the one at the top right - love vintage stuff and anything with a bee on it has got to be good! Have a good week MMx #56
ReplyDeleteOh Ros, am so with you, loving the idea of the creations, but don't actually want to commit to journalling..I don't know..how odd that is considering how I like to write! Am sure you should send the canvasses out again..a bit like advertising, they need to appear a minimum of three times to create memory..someone tempted to buy may so easily assume there'll be there 'next time'`!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun happening here. Love the colors of spray you used. Happy Wednesday! SueC#107
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely things on your desk.
ReplyDeleteThe weeks go faster each year. I cannot believe that it is May already!

I must be going mad (or madder) I searched and searched for you on woyww then realised you didn't post. See going madder. I hope one of the UK stores will email me about the stamp otherwise I will just let it go and move on to something else that catches my attention!
