WOYWW teetering precariously

Not me, just this huge pile of stuff creative chaos. You can't really tell from this angle (which actually does involve teetering precariously on a chair), can you? Trust me, everything is about to take a dive or at least sail over the edge, not unlike ancient mariners worrying about falling off the edge of the known universe.

No, you can't see the full gravity of the situation from this angle :)

The small mixed media canvas needing some tweeking before it could be called finished.
And all those bottles are the latest "must have". They are Adirondack colour wash sprays and unlike Glimmermist they don't contain mica, so, maybe, just maybe, they won't clog up and refuse to work. They can be made to look like Glimmermist by adding a spray of Perfect Pearls... perfect!

Why am I showing you this?  Julia over at the Stamping Ground will explain all. Bye for now.

  1. G'day RosA. Happy WOYWW day to you. I'm a returning WOYWW after almost a years break. Now this is a desk like how mine usually is. That little mixed media canvas looks beautiful indeed

  2. Ah the wonders of a close-up camera shot - not a precarious teetering pile in sight - just some lovely colourful experiments!

  3. Hello Rosa. You look like you are having fun there on your desk - even if it is about to disappear off the edge of the world. Love the piece right in the middle there.
    Take care.

  4. Get off that chair before Julia sees you and sends you to the naughty corner. I love my sprays but most of the mica ones ended up in the bin. It was either that or throw them against the wall. I have a terracotta Adirondack spray in my cupboard for about six years and it's never clogged.
    Love the canvas.

  5. I find you just have to give the nozzle a wipe when you finish and no clogging. Love the card! Francesca #73

  6. OOH Ros, am jealous abut the new sprays you have there...I think if you don't find them clogging, I will be down the road to buy some! How do you know that the little canvas does or doesn't need more...it's such as skill! Now you be careful climbing about that desk and it's toppling-ness.....I neber would guess from the shot!

  8. I hope your goodies don't fall of the edge, they are too nice to lose. Love the effect of the torn paper and the colours on the other pieces are divine. I hope your sprays don't clog, that's so annoying isn't it.
    Have a great week.

  9. Lovely collection of colour wash sprays and great idea to just spray Perfect Pearls if needed. Thanks for the goodies I am still unpacking my bag.

  10. Hello again Rosa. The stamp I was playing with was a Sheena Douglass - sold in Britain through Crafter's Companion. Not sure who sells it in your end of the world. She has a lovely range of stamps - some bigger some smaller - but the detail is good, and they stamp cleanly. This particular one is part of her "a little bit festive" collection. I've quite a few of the stamps now, courtesy of John buying them for me for birthdays and Christmas!! I like to use them; they tend to give a nostalgic feel. Hope that helps some...

  11. I'm guessing that means it is the mica that clogs up the glitter mists? I haven't tried any myself but love the look. I'm murder on spray bottles and kill the pump action just by being in the same room as them. I hope all that wonderful stuff on your desk doesn't fall over the edge of the known universe. That would be a waste of good stuff. Thanks for the visit earlier and the validation that a girl can never have too much washi tape. Hubby seems to think there is a limit. Silly man.
