WOYWW finishing stuff

You could be forgiven for thinking that I only ever start things, but sometimes, occasionally,
               I actually finish them  ...

I was trying to buy good quality, heavyish card in black and white, but no success there.
I ended up with metallic cream and silver.

Here's a close up of the card which will be a birthday card for my niece.

That's all for now.
If may take a few days for me to visit, but I'll get to as many desks as I can.
Catch you soon, via the wonderful world of WOYWW, from Julia.

  2. Happy WOYWW Ros, oooww love your knitted hat, great colours. Neat birthday card too...had some trouble myself trying to get thicker white card stock...somewhere along the line Officeworks card got thinner and 200gms is not heavy enough. Cheers and have a great week RobynO#39

  3. Goshj that hat came together really quickly - its a lovely pattern...you're too clever. Now - you need to go back to the mountains and model it in the snow! Loving the names of the ski runs in your last post!

  5. Oh what a wonderful hat, my DD wants one just like that. Your card would of looked really good with black and white, but I really love it just the way it is. Good quality card in a heavy weight can be hard to get. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.

  6. The ski cap is done and ready to keep someone's head warm! Nothing is worse than getting something other than you were expecting... but at least metallic cream and silver are useful even if they aren't black and white. Take care! Judy #73

  11. My daughter would love that card, she is into everything France at the moment. She has even asked me to paint an Eiffel tower on her wall with a sunset behind it! Love your beanie, it's so cold up here we've been wearing them too. Have a great week,

  14. And you reckon that I'm busy!! Great stuff there on your desk, Rosa. I also peaked at Today's post - busy??? You must have been doing masses of overtime!! Well done at all you have achieved this last week.
Thanks for visiting - knitting has been my way of maintaining my sanity these past months - but ALL is now finished - bride collects the dresses on Thursday, and we have a wedding to go to on Saturday. I'll try to get some decent photos and they will be on post next week.
    Take care. God bless.
