Just in time ...

to enter this month's colour challenge over at Rubber Dance Art Stamps. I very much enjoy these challenges because they are always based on three colours, and an optional theme, which suits the way I like to create. Here's the colour scheme for May ...

sunshine yellow, hot pink and purple
and the optional theme is "flowers"

Here's what I finished up with ... a simple card
(sometimes simple is better, right?)
 ... artistically displayed :)

and here's a close-up for more detailed inspection ...

I've used, in the background, one of my very favourite embossing folders, and the stamp (Unity Stamp Co.) was given to me by my friend because she couldn't think what to do with it, (it is rather large), so I will send her this card, in case she wants the stamp back :) :)
Oh, and I nearly forgot!  How could I forget? The flowers were coloured with my brand new Derwent Inktense pencils ... bliss!

  6. Beautiful card. I am a total believer that simple is best! I bet your friend will want the stamp back. I just bought some watercolour pencils so I can color while rehabilitating for my surgery.
