WOYWW mixed media mess

I'm doing better at keeping the creative mess under control, but, sometimes, it just gets away from me.
To get the full effect, we need two photos ...

I would stitch these together and make a panorama,
     if that was possible ...
and I knew how to do it.

I'm working on that double page spread at the top and it will be finished very soon. There's some ancient Letraset, which I'm using, and seems to be as good as new!

Here's a close up of that Zentangle page. My first attempt at "genuine" Zentangling. (I could tell you that I've been doodling since I could hold a pencil, but apparently Zentangles are not to be compared to doodling. It's just not done.)

Now, the last time I visited with the lovely Woyww people, the internet vanished (completely) and was gone for days! So, I wasn't able to return any visits and for that I apologise. I hope to visit those I missed, and many others too, of course :)
You can visit other creative desks, in various degrees of chaos, from all over the world. Just visit Julia at her Stamping Ground and all will be revealed.

  2. Well, whatever it's called, you're good at it! Is is because unlike doodling, the zen tangles have a specific shape..no stray bits outside the edges? I dunno. Love the 2 page spread, even more I love that your ancient Letraset is still good!

  3. Ooooh, I'm liking that zentangle, very nice.

My art room is a complete and utter disaster, so your desk looks pretty tidy to me!

  4. Love the tiger on your page, Ros! Very fierce! Your tangles look fantastic - is that for Wanderlust? I haven't started on that lesson yet, and I'm not sure I'll have the patience at the moment but I will save the lesson for later when I'm feeling more tranquil! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #36

  8. Mm zentangling must be slightly deficient in zen if it's snobby too, I must admit, it's fancy doodling in my book, with a definite style though, and really each doodle generally has its own style.
Now was that a bit too deep :D perhaps.....? Love the lion image on your page, great desky spot.
Hope the net behaves for you, oh and my Darkroom door stamps arrived in Perth today and will be sent when the Mementos arrive... Not excited, much!!!
