Over at Wanderlust, following on from some recent tutorials, the challenge for June is about using watercolours. But, here's the real challenge, you must use colours from your nation's flag. My first attempt, using a basic watercolour paint set, was not promising ...
So I moved onto using another set ...
Now, we share the same three colours, red, white and blue, with a few other countries, so something was needed to make the country in question quite obvious. I think this works ...
I know it's very simple and probably not "artistic" enough (for Wanderlust), but I am pleased with it nevertheless. It was also an opportunity to work with some liquid masking fluid which was good. (Scanning the photo has tried to turn the sky purple grey, but it really is blue, as per top photo.)
OOOoH RosA this is really lvely I totally concur think it turned out just wonderfully and not unlike in ciolour from some of my sisters shots on today's post yes am day late for WOYWW!
