WOYWW Winter Wrap Up

On the last day of August, it's time to bid farewell to Winter. It's a short season here Down Under, so we must make the most of it, and this year I have managed to spend three weeks, in total, in snow country. Most Aussies enjoy our long, hot Summers ... but a minority of us very much enjoy visiting the snow, just as often as possible! (On the odd occasion, I've even come across fellow Aussies who have no idea we even have snow! Strange, but true!)
Anyway, today I was uploading a pic to the Wanderlust August Challenge, so that's what you get to see on my desk ...

Hopefully, I can catch up with you in the next few days.
WOYWW comes to you courtesy of Julia at her Stamping Ground.

  3. This looks splendid, RosA! It's easy for us to forget that you guys have the seasons the other way around! I must admit I've been neglecting Wanderlust for the past few months. I really need to get back to it to get my money's worth. Lucky we can save all the videos. It's nice seeing you on WOYWW again! zsuzsa #18

  4. Happy WOYWW. Snow in Australia? Hard to imagine - and difficult to think that your winter is coming to an end, whilst we have those long dark months ahead of us. Ali x #25

  5. Oh heck RosA - I have a lot of catching up to do at some time. Joined Wanderlust and not even started reading yet. Do you think I will ever get to the stage you are at?
Wish it was our winter that was ending rather than our miserable summer
    Hugs, Neet 7 xx
ps have you heard how Shaz is this week?

  9. My first thought was "What does she mean by saying farewell to winter!?"
Then I realized you are standing upside down, just under my feet. LOL

    HAPPY WOYWW!

  10. I'm a bright light, warm temperature gal, but probably because we have a very short season of it! Glad that you've been able to enjoy a good winter - I love all the icy sparkly colours you've used - shivery!

  11. I am sure you enjoyed the snow. I actually wore my winter coat for about 6 weeks!! The journal pages are looking good ... won't be long before we plan another catch up for the end of the year. The tiara was DD's idea but I am interested in learning how to paint metal and diamonds.

  12. Pleased to hear that your winter is nearly over however we are just going into autumn though you might not think so as it is very warm here which is unusual for the UK, still not long till the ski season! Happy woyww, Angela x 11

  13. Your pages are looking great - I love the shimmery, wintery feel and I also love that glittery roll of ribbon/tape? at the back of your desk - it's gorgeous!
I have to admit I didn't know you had snow there either - if I ever visited I would have to be in the snowy area - I don't do heat!
Hope you have a lovely week,

  14. awesome looking desk Rosa! I knew you have some winter down under but I find it so interesting that while we are still having 90+ weather here I am looking forward to fall and the cooler days! Winter starts in earnest here just around Christmas and carries on for a couple months. Much better then a couple states north. Have a great week. Vickie #45
