Autumn in a southern Spring

Over at Wanderlust the challenge for September is to use a particular set of four colours, inspired by a European Autumn  ...

There's no particular theme. Just use these colours, plus black and white, if required. Well, I like this sort of challenge and at first it seemed that Autumn was an obvious choice of theme ... but, it is Spring here and I don't want to wish away the next six months thinking about next Autumn. So, I've got all those colours down and I'm happy with the result.

I added some serviette pieces which amazingly were exactly the right colours.

I'm not sure where it's going now. Any ideas?

Details: double page spread in journal, acrylic paint with lots of "non-Artist" tools
to make all those markings, torn paper serviette pieces added

  1. Oooh I love this, Rosa! It almost doesn't need anything else but if you do add something it will need to be bold. The colours are gorgeous.

Thank you for your visit. The pens I use on the parchmnent paper are my normal Zentangle ones - I use Zig Millennium ones but any fine permanent markers would do. The parchment paper is lovely to draw on.
