WOYWW 9 March

It's Wednesday again, so you know that means. It's time for WOYWW.
Please visit Julia to see what it's all about.

Most of the work you can see, (Is it "work" if you enjoy doing it? Probably not.) is all about "recycling", like using cardboard and sardine tins and champagne bottle wrappings (the champagne wasn't free, but you get the picture) and pretty things that came in the mail. And then there is the "finishing" part, as in unfinished projects. There's a reverse canvas, using cardboard, Japanese tissue, Glimmermist etc, and there's some little watercolour backgrounds waiting for more inspiration. The twinchies (from a swap a while back) are waiting for a background which will probably be that pinkish tissue paper which I have just made. Oh, and there's another bunch of twinchies (top left) made in a workshop given by Kelsey . I'm going to assemble them on a canvas so they can actually be hung on a wall. Hooray! And I used the same technique for the aforementioned pink tissue paper background. There's more stuff there ... just ask me if you want to know about it ... bye for now!

  1. The twinchies are going to look fab on the canvas - you'll enjoy them so much more on the wall. Like the look of the new batch of ATCs, lots of colour. What's the sardine tin to become then - a frame?
