There's nothing new happening on my "workspace" this week.
Just struggling with this apothecary page for the HOH project.
(And it needs to be finished and in the mail
and preferably received by the end of the month!)
So, I am just going to show you some knitting I started while away over Easter ...
You can see I have no qualms about leaving it in the middle of a row either.
And here's my latest ebay bargain
but I won't be able to play with them until that HOH is out of the way.
NOTE: to visitors ...
I love hearing your comments and I try to visit you all
but sometimes I just run out of time.
Please be assured that I really do appreciate your input.
Don't forget to go visit Julia who will give you a list of WOYWW participants.

Your jumper is absolutely gorgeous. I used to knit but now all i get around to are the squares for wrapped with love. Not enough time to do all the things that I want to do. Can't wait to see your Apothecary HOH can you bring it on the 15th?? I also thought of inmate!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't knit as often as I used to but it's more portable than any other art/craft. The apothecary HOH is proving very difficult. I have to send it away as soon as it is finished but I have been making copies of the previous ones to keep for myself although none of those are properly finished. Going to that workshop at Fantasia tomorrow. Don't know what to take in the way of a photo. Am hoping there will be some inspiration forthcoming because I don't feel very creative at the moment.
ReplyDeleteLucky you finding an ebay bargain! Haven't knitted for yonks and what a very pretty pattern, have no Idea how to do that. I'm missing my messy craft room...promarkers and a couple of punches are just not enough. I'm going to have to hunt through ebay now! HappY WoyWw!

How did the workshop go??? You must post a photo as I would love to see what colours and stencils you picked. I also had trouble linking directly to your site had to go via my blog. You always find the best stuff on ebay!!
ReplyDeleteHi RosC and Sandra,
ReplyDeleteThe link is fixed. Don't know what I did wrong. Probably in a hurry! I enjoyed the workshop, and was really glad there was nothing to measure and cut! See entry above, hehehe!
Love your knitting .Used to love doing patterns like that ...worked out on graph paper ...that was 30 years ago ...and yes one does forget how to knit lol
ReplyDeleteHi RosC, love the knitting hope you are going to show the finished item :-) You are brave leaving the row half worked I've never had the courage to do that, I would always forget where I left the pattern repeat. I've only just started knitting again after many years, the yarns and colours are so yummy just begging to be bought and worked with.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if hubby is as enthusiastic he still has dark memories of looking like a bumble bee with one of my home knits.

Wow the canvas is stunning, and i love the knitting. Thanks for the peek. Kezzy x
ReplyDeleteNothing to make a girl happy other than a bargain on e-bay or a glass of Baileys!! Love your canvas and the knitting is fab. I got my mum to knit me a fairisle jumper for Christmas last year!!! Same pattern as one she made me some 30ish years ago!! Bless her!!
ReplyDeleteIs there a rule about abandoning in the middle of a row? I'm not a knitter, but I figure at some stage every knitter has to do that!! Love the pattern abd colours you're creating with. Am late enough to see the canvasses too - you're so prolific - they're wonderful. Whenyou get a chance to use that new cuttlebug folder, do show - I have it and have never quite found a use... now I can rely on you!
ReplyDeleteOoh and you KNIT too! Is there no end to your talents?
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sandra
