Mmm, did that grab your attention? Maybe.
Once again, on account of it's Wednesday, I present my "desk" for your perusal.
I've just started recycling this canvas. The "right" side was just not looking "right".
Perhaps I will show you that side next time. Already I am much happier with the "wrong" side. I don't know what will happen next, inspiration is elusive at the moment.
And this is where the "instant gratification" comes in ...
Beanie (from last week) is finished. It only took a few days to make which is nice when I want everything done yesterday.
And, now, because I am sooooo busy sitting here, staring into space, waiting for inspiration to strike, I think you should visit Julia at the Stamping Ground
and she will explain why today is WOYWW.
Hi there Ros, ah so funny you have popped over to my blog already and yes! I plan to show the finished results asap! just adore your beanie will be great for next winter.. but maybe still cold enough where you are for spring!

ReplyDeleteOhhh that beanie is a beautiful. I like the canvas and my eyes are not spotting a big difference between left and right. But then again my eyes!!!! Often it is the little details that make all the difference, I am sure it will turn out beautifully. I have one of your canvas as proof.

Tee hee. That title is definitely an eye catcher!
ReplyDeleteYour hat is beautiful -- look at all the different colors. And I wouldn't think a project as detailed would give "instant gratification". Just goes to show that I need to step up my knitting game!
Happy WOYWW

utterly shameless this week . . .
A lovely piece of knitting. I do like fair-isle patterns. I'm sure it will be an asset when next winter comes around.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to remember to pop in again to see how the canvas progresses. Kate x #97
Well done on completing your knitting so quickly. I am intending to work on a canvas this week as well - but I'm just going to cover it with fabric to make a notice board.
