Two for one day ... first of all it's Wednesday and you know what that means. It's time for joining up with Julia at the Stamping Ground as we have a peek at lots of creative spaces, all around the world. What fun! And because I am joining in with Creative Jump Start 2014 (brought to you by Nathalie Kalbach - see link on side bar),
you get even more today ... well, sort of ...
you get even more today ... well, sort of ...
actually what you get is more (creative) action and less (creative) procrastination.
Now, a close up of that canvas. I'm not sure whether it is "finished" yet.
I've used some everyday, household items including a wine bottle cap,
a plastic paper clip and plastic tags from bread packages. (And some chipboard scraps which anyone else really would have thrown out.)
The colouring is mainly polished pigments and twinkling H2Os.

ReplyDeleteI'm one of those who never knows when "it's finished". But to me, your canvas looks balanced, and sometimes less is more.Any more might get too busy.

ReplyDeleteI think it's beautiful. Wondering and would like to know what it's made of, since I can usually tell, but couldn't this time. Like others, I can't be much help, because I think it's stunning already.
ReplyDeleteHave a great WOYWW from # 16.
Great collection of interesting bits and layers of colour. I am never good at stopping once I start layering. I would be tempted to add some stamping might be best to let it sit and see how you feel next week. Sandra @ 28

ReplyDeleteGood morning.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to squeeze as many visits in as I can before work gets in the way. Thanks for sharing your little corner of creativity today. Canvas looks good. I think with things like this it is difficult to decide whether it is "finished" but I like it now!
Hope the rest of your week is a good one.

Congrats on the first place! I've been awol for the last two weeks, I think it's two, but it feels much longer! It's lovely to be back and that canvas is amazing! The colours and texture are stunning! It looks perfect to me, but - as others have said - only you can decide whether it's finished! Tricky decision always. Happy Wednesday! Julie Ann #54 xxx

No 1, so glad you checked me before leaving work...I scheduled for 3.30am....as the season turns it will change to be slightly more sociable for this hemisphere!!
ReplyDeleteI love the canvas, love the 'found' pieces on it, how clever you are. As for whether it's finished or not.....I have no idea!! Useless friend huh!
I think its beautiful and I do like the way it looks right now. I would put it to one side and not look at it for a few days and then come back with a fresh pair of eyes. Then you'll know if YOU are happy with it. #41
ReplyDeleteGreat canvas! I think it is finished, but then, I am a less is more kinda girl.
