A few people asked about this and I told them I would let them know when I got around to using it. Now, I have no idea how long this product has been around, but it is new to me. And I thought I would give it a go because it may very well replace that sticky, icky grey stuff. (If you're a stamper, you will know what I mean.) So, I have tried it out and I think this is what I will "stick" with. There is only one small sheet in the packet, about A5 size, I guess, and you are meant to cut it to fit your perspex blocks. However, I just applied it to the biggest one I have and used it like that, but I probably will cut it into a couple of smaller pieces when I decide which blocks get used the most. Now, your unmounted rubber stamp just "sticks" to this sheet and that's all there is to it. Remove the Tack N Peel when finished with and sit it back on the piece of acetate from the packaging. Easy peasy!
I don't often do "how to" posts, not enough hours in the day,
so please let me know if this makes sense ... or not :)
Your post makes total sense. I had an idea what Tack and Peel was about and I see I was in the ballpark about it. My concern about a constantly sticky block is getting other things stuck to it--like fuzzies from the carpet or the random detritus on the bottom of my craft bag, not to mention my favorite accessory--cat hair. You'll have to report in later if you block catches fuzz or loses its stickability.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Tack and Peel. So clever but I need to see it IRL and give me a report on how it works on a day to day basis.

Makes sense to me but then I have used it before. I used to take mine of the block and replace it in the package because I use the blocks for mounted stamps too...... After a while it does loose it's tackiness.. So your idea is probably better
