... um, well, it's two weeks before the Woyww Anniversary Week, 300 and something.
As you can see, my "desk mess" has been minimised by moving to a smaller area, a ploy which I hope will contain not just the mess, but the number of projects which I can work on at any one time. That's the plan, anyhow :) Everything's self-explanatory, right? (I need two boxes of tissues at the moment - plain ones on the left now feel like sandpaper, so nice soft ones are necessary, til I shake this pre-Winter cold.)
I've been playing with a lovely new die (from Taylored Expressions), which you can see at the front, and I have turned it into some nice cards ... *
Whilst tracking down that new die, I came across Gill's Crafty Cards, a home based business (here in Australia). Unfortunately, Gill doesn't have a website (at the moment), but if you send her an email she may have that elusive die that you need :)
Now, most of the backgrounds were done using Some Fabulous New Colouring Media* and I think they deserve an entire post :) So, I'll probably keep that til next Wednesday.
(Here's a thought ... if you want to guess what they* are, maybe I will send you one of those cards. After all, they will just go into the Consolidated Revenue Box of Finished Cards.)
Now, if you are here via Woyww, I may not catch you til Friday. We'll see.
And, of course, you know that Woyww comes to you direct from Julia at the Stamping Ground.
BTW, if you are going to the Woyww crop, and you would like to swap ATCs, I have already sent a batch to Julia, so let me know and I will in turn let Julia know that one of them is reserved for you :)

Those turned out to be beautiful cards so pretty looking and each one so different :)

what fabulous cards, Ros, I love it (and may have to go hunting...) love the backgrounds but guessing was never my strong point, lush colours though... are they the new dylusion paints? have a great week. Helen 4
ReplyDeleteGood morning, RosA. Wow - were you just sitting there waiting for folk to link? your comment came in so very quickly! That is some die you have found there - it's a very effective sillouette. Well done on all the finished cards for your pile of finished-ready-for-anything pile!! Life has indeed been a little crazy the past few weeks, and will continue that way for the foreseeable future... hence the decision not to blog for the meantime. You can always email if you like. I'm currently managing to get to the computer about every other day...
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards and that die looks wonderful. You always come across the most amazing stuff. Yes to lunch in June and looking forward to it very much. Have been so busy at work and family birthday events that I have not had time to post or do any craft. Sigh :( Well done for getting your atc's to Julia. Have a good week.
