I exaggerate, but since relocating my "work" area, I don't need to stand on my chair. I can take a reasonable pic without even leaving my chair, which in itself is weird, because I prefer to work standing up rather than sitting. Enough waffling ... this is what you came for ...
Still making cards with that fabulous tree die and working on something for a colour challenge, which is not progressing very well at the moment. Back right hand you can see a little recycled/altered bottle. You can find more pics and details here.
Apologies if I did not catch up with you last week. I think there must have been only four days instead of the usual seven :) Let's keep this short and sweet, and I hope to visit you in the next day or two, or three.
You can see many and more desks if you go visit Julia at the Stamping Ground.
Your cards are looking stunning and now I love the collection of flowers. I know what you mean about time getting away from you. I had to fly to Brisbane last Friday then flying to Dubbo this Friday for a funeral and then Singapore next week to catch up with a friend. By the time I get there I think I will just sleep.... and shop and maybe eat.LOL.

Hi Roslyn, I do like those tree cards. I find when I make a series like that I get more done.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think someone pinches some of the days in every week!
Thanks for the visit and have a great crafty woyww, Angela x 21

ReplyDeleteYou look really industrious there. I love all those tree cards, the colours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that it always seems so much easier to craft standing up?

Wow! You are definitely getting the most out of that tree die! I'm loving all the bright flowered and foliage pieces you are cutting out. They are going to be a part of something great I'm sure. Judy #60
ReplyDeleteI love those tree silhouettes with the varying colors! Visited the post about the bottle. So beautiful! Truly wonderful work this week. I would love to exchange ATC's with you. Diane #27
ReplyDeleteI love leaf die cuts and dies, they're something I use a lot so great to see different ones.
ReplyDeleteHi Ros and thanks for the visit. Lots of loveliness happening on your desk...love that tree die and your cards, such pretty roses too. Enjoy your week Cheers RobynO#16
ReplyDeleteThat rose image is lovely isn't it..probably one of the first I bought..and still like it. Think that's the power of florals really. Loving the pens all lined up at attention there! The tree die is NEVER going to get old is it, so much you can use it on and for.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great colourful industrious work space. you have been really busy.

Hello Ros, thanks for visiting my blog. Yes, I do make books - there are several recent posts about bookbinding, if you fancy a look (http://lizziemade.blogspot.co.uk/) - just scroll down to the post before my WOYWW, to see the most recent...
ReplyDeleteI like the series of Tree cards - that is a fantastic die. You could do loads with that! I love the backgrounds you've made for the trees too. The collection of flowers and leaves looks interesting too - I'll have to try and come back, to see what you've done with them.
Have a good weekend (as it's now Friday!)
