WOYWW Water ("colouring in") and wedding card

I've taken to watercolours, but really, all I'm doing is "Colouring In". Maybe the only artistic ability required here is to figure out where the shading goes.

As you probably guessed, I have used that nice Altenew stamp, "Beautiful Day".

And if you came by here last week, I did make another card which turned out to be
 The (final) Wedding Card ...

ah, yes ... same stamp again! It's versatile, right?

  7. I think you underestimate yourself, your watercolour looks fab, and I think it does take artistic ability to get the shading right. Happy WOYWW, Vicky #16

  12. I love it and the use of the mug for a brush holder while you paint. Was the mug a visual for shading inspiration? Though I know you can do that anyway without a reference.

  17. I think you're doing yourself a disservice - your watercolour technique looks pretty effective to me! Knowing where the shading and highlights go is something that not everyone can do. I think your flowers are beautiful :-)
