Here's "workdesk Wednesday" again!
Sure comes around quickly, doesn't it?
I'd like to put those pics side by side for a "panorama" view, but I can't work out how.
Maybe if there's anyone reading this who knows they might tell me. That would be nice.
You can see some goodies I bought at the Scraploot sale last week.
Glimmermist, alcohol inks, Graphic 45 paper, crackle effect stuff and a lovely frame stamp.
Oh, and I forgot to buy the stamp cleaner that I actually needed!
As for what I'm making at the moment,
well I'm still playing with canvas, stencils, texture paste, glimmermist ...
there's a new one top left. Oh, and I don't keep the tea bags on my desk,
(I do have a pantry). The empty box makes nice storage for bits of tissue paper and other fragile paper stuff.
Would you like to see my latest knitting?
Of course it doesn't usually sit there but I am working on it at the moment.
(And, as I make up the fair isle pattern as I go,
I reckon it comes under the heading of "creativity".)
If you would like to have a look at lots and lots of other desks pop over and visit Julia
who will happily show you around.
Two thumbs up for a scrap haul... I love the colours on your desk...
ReplyDeleteI do too keep all kind of boxes and such to store small items...
just dont forget they are there...
:)
love the crafty goodness on your desk!
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely resources here for a great play-day! If you have Photoshop or Elements you can create a 'canvas' in there and put them side by side, then save as a single jpeg. If you'd like some help, just email. :)
ReplyDeleteLove all tha goodies on your desk. Wouldn't mind having a few. :) Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteVery nice stash there! Love all the colors and texture of your desk. I am computer illiterate so I can't help with that. Good luck... Thanks for sharing! Vickie #46
ReplyDeleteYou did very well at the sale, gorgeous glimmermist colours. I love the texture past canvas, it looks translucent. Did you use modelling paste or texture paste instead of gesso? Your knitting is amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow your desk is oozing creativity. I bought some of those spray mists at a show and not had time to play with them, seeing yours displayed I might just give them an airing.

ReplyDeleteI like the colors that you used in your knitting. I can Barely knit. It's pretty damn hard for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that you've just recently hoarded glimmermists too. I've never had them (yes, i am the Last Human Being to get them), and i just bought them last week.
That is not to say i've used them yet, but
i will
i will
So.
you forever magazine keeping sister.
I bet there are more of us reading material hoarders than we suspect.
Maybe not.
The world moves so fast, and so does everyone in it.
It's all still news to me.
