WOYWW 19 October and some Happy Mail

Hello Wednesday WOYWWers!
(and anyone else who has stumbled across my blog space!)

Here's today's "desk disaster" ...

As usual, there's more than a couple of things happening.
Some "altered" stuff which is being turned into key chains or
luggage labels or just tags to hang off stuff ... hmmm,
maybe Christmas tree decorations are in order?
(If that happens, I will give them away ... ?)  Don't pegs make wonderful clamps?
There's a little artist notebook waiting to be "altered" and there's a new watercolour notepad. (A5 and made from quality German paper ... well, that's what it says, will test it out shortly.) See that Jo Sonja's Binder Medium ... haven't used it for a while, but it made quite good glue/sealer for those tags and didn't dry tacky, so that's a plus!

But wait, look, there's more!
Here's my desk, at work, this morning ...

a lovely, fabulous parcel in the mail from
with punches and bling that will be the envy
of my sk8nski friends, hehe!
And by now, you are perhaps wondering what this WOYWW thing is,
please go visit with Julia and she will send you on a world-wide
"desk dash"!

Great workspace - would love to know how that paper works out, as my DIL and my son both love to use watercolour paper - real good quality paper is quite hard to come by.

  8. So many splendid snowflake things - lucky girl (I was mentally costing up and then hopped over and realised that the sender had been to the states). Do you have as much trouble with things costing twice as much in Australia as we do in the UK?

  13. I like your disasterous desk, and when Germans say quality they mean it, really, don;t question them on it, you will be given The Look, if you want quality Control the Germans are your Nation, if you want an orderly queue and come to Blighty (well pre- riots we were fairly polite), if you want a crazy doone book (if you like what you see of Sandra's she tell you the means by which she obtained hers...)

  14. That’s a nice busy desk this week!

Those Martha Stewart Punch and stamp sets are really great and I love the fact that you can get three very different looks from the one punch.

    Happy Crafting!

  22. Love the goodies you got from Alessandra. Her ATC's are gorgeous. I have a love hate relationship with the alcohol inks. when I use them for a project I hate them. But when I colour furniture or in this case book binding tape they are brilliant. Looking forward to next Wednesday!!
