WOYWW and why I need another book*

Welcome to Wednesday's Wonderful World of Workdesks,

Nothing much happening here today,
just a few useful bargain buys for your perusal ...

Cost = 50c @ op shop
4 plastic lettering stencils (just like we used at school!)
and 6 detailed Christmas stencils

and one book ... suitable for altering.
*(More about that later.)

Of course, in the hunt for the "suitable" book,
for just a few more dollars,
there was some collateral damage ...

The William Morris book
is brand new and full of beautiful colour pics.
And the Fabric Scrapping book has lots of lovely arty sewing ideas!

I'm off to see what everyone else is up to now.

  1. Oh wow, I'm in love with "Texture Techniques." Sounds interesting. BTW, my stencils were never plastic (grin). Happy WOYWW from # 3.

  6. I can honestly say I have never read "Fanny by Gaslight" I think it is good for the literary world that she is altered. The WM book and texture techniques look fabulous. You have an absolute knack of finding the best stuff.

  21. hmmm thats the thing, one intends to alter, and then it becomes a thing that needs to stay as it is... soemtimes you just have to alter it and forget you love it as it is...
