Welcome to Wednesday's Wonderful World of Workdesks,
brought to you by Julia at the Stamping Ground.
Nothing much happening here today,
just a few useful bargain buys for your perusal ...
Cost = 50c @ op shop
4 plastic lettering stencils (just like we used at school!)
and 6 detailed Christmas stencils
and one book ... suitable for altering.
*(More about that later.)
Of course, in the hunt for the "suitable" book,
for just a few more dollars,
there was some collateral damage ...
The William Morris book
is brand new and full of beautiful colour pics.
And the Fabric Scrapping book has lots of lovely arty sewing ideas!
I'm off to see what everyone else is up to now.
Oh wow, I'm in love with "Texture Techniques." Sounds interesting. BTW, my stencils were never plastic (grin). Happy WOYWW from # 3.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to join Elizabeth' altered book class? I like your rubber stamps! :^) Patsy from

ReplyDeleteI love William Morris ...looks like you made some great buys.
ReplyDeletehmmm thats the thing, one intends to alter, and then it becomes a thing that needs to stay as it is... soemtimes you just have to alter it and forget you love it as it is...

Great finds have fun playing.
ReplyDeleteI love the thrift shops. The stencils sound interesting...will have to wait to see what you create with them.
ReplyDeleteThe rest seems like a good bargain as well.
Well remember those stencils as children. We had flower stencils too as I recollect. Hugs Mrs A.
