time for WOYWW, and you've probably come by to see this ...
Just working on my pages for the "bird book" swap. Thirteen pages are due in about three weeks time so this is all I expect you will see here 'til then, although I remain optimistically hopeful that they will be finished earlier than that! (My attention span is about to start flagging.) The front page will be the one with the opening door and the reverse is the one with the two birds sitting on a branch. Look, I needed to buy more Distress Ink :) !
Now, if you want to know more about WOYWW, please see Julia for more details.
Oh, and if you popped by here last week, I mentioned kookaburras on clotheslines, a regular occurrence in this part of the

ReplyDelete"Kookaburra sits on an old gum tree" ... reminded me of the song we used to sin in the Girl Guides (years ago) guess I will be singing that in my head now for ages.

ReplyDeleteRosa, you mentioned kookaburras on your washing line last week and I have had one land on mine twice this week! You managed to get such a great pic of him too... mine decides to visit at dusk and the camera doesn't like the lack of light.
ReplyDeleteYour pages are coming along beautifully... keep going, nearly there!! Annette #6
Love that bright blue on your desk Ros and a birdy post all round with that Kookaburra, I've only even seen them in a zoo or some such place, they make a heck of a racket!! The tree stamp is in a set by Inkadinkado called Christmas Words.

Beautiful pages, and what a handsome fellow! We only get so see the kookaburras at the zoo, so he looks quite exotic to me.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I always try to "talk" to them in kookaburra when we visit--we probably seem quite the goofs to both the birds and other visitors!

a mess and a love apple
Your kookaburra is a handsome fella isn't he? I stopped by because I saw your comment on someone else's blog. We used to sing the song when we were little too - I'm not sure why having no connections with Australia at the time!
ReplyDeleteThe bird book looks like an interesting project but it is quite a lot of work for you. A time scale does give you the incentive to keep at though doesn't it?. Kate x #52
Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of your pages.
Lucky you to have a Kookaburra visit, or are they a nuisance bird?
I only see them in the zoo!
