A picture is still worth a thousand (well at least a hundred) words,
so I won't bore you with the details, I think it's self explanatory (see below).
If the above is of little interest maybe you would like to see some more happy mail, courtesy of Julia's 4th Anniversary celebration of WOYWW.
"Time Flies" from Annette and on the right two ATCs and a pretty card from RosC.
Still expecting a couple more ATCs. You will see them when they arrive.
Still expecting a couple more ATCs. You will see them when they arrive.
Notes: "birds" would not be my choice because I'm not partial to them fluttering around and invading my personal space, although I don't mind the odd Kookaburra sitting sedately on my clothesline, as they often do!
And if you are even remotely interested in how I have made anything, techniques, products, etc, please feel free to ask for more details.
OK, must dash and see what's happening on other desks.
I love your birds, they can flutter around me anytime. I had a good close look at how you put them all together. Love those ATC's and the gorgeous card.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and I really am freezing :)

ReplyDeleteYou look like you are fully committed to the book swap, Ros. I'm sorry it's on a subject not to your liking. I'd love to have birds fluttering in my personal space, but I appreciate that you don't.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the marvelous ATCs and thanks for visiting me! Have a wonderful week! Darnell #20
I really do like the colours and patterns in the first pic....that's going to be an interesting swap then! Ad more fab ATCs! Love them!
ReplyDeleteI only ever get robins sitting on my washing line...I would have thought a kookaburra would have bent yours!! They're not exactly small, delicate birds are they?
Hugs, LLJ 43 xx

Forgot to say you don't NEED pan pastels but you know you WANT them.
ReplyDeleteBe selective with colours - don't forget colours can mix - if you buy any.
Hugs, Neet xx

I'm with you on the birds inside flying about... but I love to watch them in the garden. I have kookaburras at 5.30 every morning... laughing their dawn chorus but they don't sit on my washing line! :( I think your looking pretty organised with the book swap, love the images and colours you are using. Happy WOYWW from Annette #9
ReplyDeleteI love your birds! That shade of blue works really well with the lovely black contrasts. And what fabulous ATCs you received. Thank you for sharing all this and I bet your desk is more creative than the average time and motion expert's! Julie Ann xx#65

Love the colour of the book. I've never seen a Kookaburra, best I get in my garden are Magpies, Seagulls and the odd Blue Tit. Gorgeous ATC's. Hugs. Pam#38
ReplyDeleteRos am loving the colour you chose, and the genius dea of stencilling the fence..gives it such perspective. Funny how you wouldn't choose birds. I would. Although as you say, they aren't allowed to be flocking and scarey!
ReplyDeleteI am sure that book is going to be very eye catching, love the stencils you have been using. You are doing well to still have lovely atc's coming through the mail. Next catch up I will bring artwork and you can show me your book IRL, I also have to pay you for the little art journal you bought. Don't let me forget:)

How cute!! I love all that teal blue--and I am cracking up, because when I'm doing a "production line" of something, I always think the same thing, that efficiency experts would be horrified! Happy WOYWW! Thanks for visiting me too! Sandy Leigh #22

ReplyDeleteI often use an assembly line when I make a large number of swap items. I love your happy mail, too. Lovely ATCs. Of course, we don't get those birds here in the States (grin). Have a super WOYWW from #17
ReplyDeleteLovely production line you have! The ATC's always inspire me and give me ideas for my own. Wish a kookaburra would sit on my clothesline! (Not likely in the U.S. of A.!)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
