A few projects on the go at the same time ... as per usual ...
New stamps on the left ... other new stamps on the right.
Those three cards are not having any large bits stuck down until I find the energy to unpack
(and find somewhere to put), a borrowed Xyron 900.
And that die cut snowflake glued to the plastic lid of a used container is my latest attempt at handmade stamps. So far, so good. I also gave in and bought those Distress Paints to try out. Again, so far, so good! Here's what I did with them ...
more nice backgrounds, I suppose? (Used with the stamps above right.)
And one last WOYWW Anniversary ATC arrived from Debbie (Tattered Rocks)
Well, it's the end of the financial year here, and the paperwork is calling.
Catch you soon, courtesy of Julia at her Stamping Ground.

I've only got a couple of distress paints too, and not used them much - they're in a box out of arm's reach now and I forget I have them! Love the new stamps though, don't you love Kaisercraft stamps? Happy WOYWW. Helen 5
ReplyDeleteI too got an ATC from Debbie. Love them. Best of luck with financial year end. YUCK in my book. Struggling to do a quote for a project on this end. Hate admin. I just want to play! #13
ReplyDeleteI only have a few distress paints, and I haven't used them much. I really like the backgrounds you made, and those stamps. That's are really nice ATC you rec'd. #4
ReplyDeleteLove the backgrounds! And funnily enough I found my huge old Xyron in a cupboard a few weeks back and what's more I found a brand new adhesive cartridge as well! Yippee! I still love the ease of application and the overall sticking power of it but keep reading how hard it can be to find the replacement cartridges nowadays. I figure this one will last me a year, but I should start looking now.... :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

Love the new stamps...you're going to have fun with those lovelies! I have no idea what a Xyron is...it sounds like a villain out of Doctor Who or Star Wars!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the best of luck with the paperwork...that's my most hated thing to do...yuk!
Hugs, LLJ 16 xx
I love new stamps and I am still finding little stashed stamps in the old craft room that I need to bring over to the new one. OMG! so much stuff...Have a great week and enjoy all the creating you are doing. Vickie #40

ReplyDeleteHello Rosa. Lovely ATC received from Debbie. Afraid I'm with LLJ - what IS a Xyron?? Alas I am pretty ignorant about these things.
ReplyDeleteLovely background papers you have made there. Enjoy using them with your new stamps.

Wow 2nd place in the woyww race! Love the colours you have chosen in those distress ink paints, gorgeous combo. I am thinking of going to the quilt fair on the 9/7 .... not that I need to buy anything but I just feel in the mood. Haven't been for a couple of years so I thought I would go on the opening day. Let me know if your planning on going?
ReplyDeleteSandra de @57
Hi RoSa, at first I thought you had made the ATC as it matches so well with the background papers you've made. Love the crafty Individual inchies they look very useful. You do have lots going on but still room to work so that's okay.

Belated WOYWW
Hi Ros Happy WOYWW - slowly getting to snoop a few more desks. Have been wondering about those distress paints myself - are they just a thicker version of distress inks? Cheers and have a great weekend RobynO#29
