Beware - an online addiction to WOYWW, harmless though it may be, can still result in withdrawal symptoms when you miss two weeks of Wednesday desk snooping!
Here is the usual "desk mess". At the moment it's just a dumping ground for some bits and pieces I was playing with last week, whilst I was away. I had four lovely days playing arty/craftiness with my friend who has a HUGE dining table ... perfect!
What did we do? Some stamping, some die cutting, some Xyroning ... etc, etc. And here (below), even though I couldn't join you, is what last Wednesday looked like :)
Last time I mentioned the Xyron machine there were a few questions, so there it is in the bottom right hand corner. You just put paper type stuff in the side you can see, turn the handle and out it comes with sticky stuff on the back. Easy peasy! And very convenient!
Oh, and I did actually make one card, which has already been used for a 21st birthday!
I'll be around to visit you just as soon as I possibly can :)
You can visit other creative workspaces too, if you first visit Julia at the Stamping Ground. Bye for now :)
You certainly filled up that huge table with lots of wonderful creations, well done

ReplyDeleteThere is so much to see on both desks! The dining room table is so full of goodies where did you work? Lovely card. I spied the girl from the first desk photo. Diane #30
The card is lovely. Looks and sounds as if you had a fun four days crafting with your friend. Thanks for sharing your workspace today. Hazel, WOYWW, #34 x

ReplyDeleteA wonderful way to spend a few days. Rosa. Fantastic size table - I am presuming any meals hurriedly taken between crafting were on your knee on a tray?! Can't possibly put everything away again and again, now can we??? Great finished card - and you certainly had a very productive few days looking at all the items on this week's desk!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hi Ros, the warning at the top of your post is so true ... perhaps we should all include it in our posts :) However, I think in your case the withdrawal symptoms must have been minimal, you clearly had a fabulous time crafting with your friend. Hope this week isn't an anticlimax for you. Elizabeth x #26
ReplyDeleteLooks as though you had lots of fun. Strangely the withdrawal symptoms happen here too! When we are at our caravan we have little or no connection and I get really twitchy!!! Chris46
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a day with a good friend and lots of crafting. Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 38
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a craft party, that's not fair I want to come and play too. I do love the girls you were cutting out, Julia Nutting I believe anyway a true favorite of mine. Also love that big piece of paper on top.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and have a great week crafting.

What an absolute explosion of creativity, Rosa! Love it! Thanks for your visit and your nice comment, and I'm glad you like my new-look office with the lovely rug. I am very pleased that the OT told Mum it was a trip hazard after her TIA, and it came to me via the loft! As for the felt making, thanks for the encouragement. I'm just a bit concerned that I won't manage it because with my M.E. I suffer from rapid muscle fatigability, especially with repetitive movement, but we shall see. I might end up doing it on the floor!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Wow! Look at that table - not an inch to spare! Your finished card looks so pretty. I'm sure the birthday girl loved it!
ReplyDeleteNot playing along this week but wanted to visit a few people.
Happy belated WOYWW
