WOYWW week 300, but who's counting?

Luckily, Julia is, because my brain is full and I don't need any more big numbers rattling around in there. So, what's the big excitement about 300? I guess it's a Really Big Number, and a long way to go til the next Really Big Number, and I'm often amazed at how this Wednesday desk visiting has led to so many interesting online friendships and connections.

Anyway, this is what you came for ...

and as you know, I'm very much in favour of the "short and sweet" post, so I'll just say that I am "playing with dolls" (Prima dolls for big people), and turning them into colourful book covers! It keeps me amused. The pink one on the right is finished and I am just toying with everything else.

Lots of people join in for WOYWW ... you can too.
Julia at the Stamping Ground has all the details.

Doll's Day Out

You remember those Prima doll stamps I had to have needed? Well, the first one I started playing with has found herself on a tag with a blue and orange/apricot colour scheme, so she's going to join in with the Blue/Orange Colour Challenge over at Crafter's Cupboard, which I came across recently, when I had to have needed those Lynne Perrella stamps :) And you'll be seeing them soon :)

Note: the ribbon and the flower that appear to be red are actually orange IRL, hmm.

WOYWW snowflakes, dolls and withdrawal symptoms

Beware - an online addiction to WOYWW, harmless though it may be, can still result in withdrawal symptoms when you miss two weeks of Wednesday desk snooping!

Here is the usual "desk mess". At the moment it's just a dumping ground for some bits and pieces I was playing with last week, whilst I was away. I had four lovely days playing arty/craftiness with my friend who has a HUGE dining table ... perfect!

What did we do? Some stamping, some die cutting, some Xyroning ... etc, etc. And here (below), even though I couldn't join you, is what last Wednesday looked like :)

Last time I mentioned the Xyron machine there were a few questions, so there it is in the bottom right hand corner. You just put paper type stuff in the side you can see, turn the handle and out it comes with sticky stuff on the back. Easy peasy! And very convenient!

Oh, and I did actually make one card, which has already been used for a 21st birthday!

I'll be around to visit you just as soon as I possibly can :)
You can visit other creative workspaces too, if you first visit Julia at the Stamping Ground.  Bye for now :)
