Now, even though this is unofficially the "Year of Not Buying Lots of Stuff", when I saw Gelatos advertised at a local chain store for a great price, well naturally, I hit the ground running :)
So ... in the last few days I have accumulated a few things to make me very happy ...
Apart from the box of Gelatos, there's a new issue of my favourite craft magazine, four large
(50cm x 40cm) canvasses at $2.50 each!! and a $10 gift voucher for the local fabric/craft store.
Again, because it's the "Year of Not Buying Lots of Stuff", when I do buy stuff, I have to break it out straight away and use it, that's the rules :)
The Gelatos were used for all the background colours and then bubble-wrap stamped with Distress Inks. Nothing very exciting, but I do like them :)
Good job making and following the rules. Effective earlier this month this has become the year of not buying lots of stuff for us too. Gonna save $$$ and pay off bills and not accumulate more stuff that we have no space for. I like that you are going to use the new stuff immediately. I tend to set it aside and rediscover it a year (or more) later. I'm impressed by both!!!
