Rubber Dance Art Stamps October Challenge

It's been a while since I have been able to join in at Rubber Dance with their monthly challenge, and I've missed the whole process. The Rubber Dance challenge is one of my favourite challenges because it always involves "three colours plus an optional theme" and some stamping, of course. (And using Rubber Dance stamps is not compulsory!)

I started with a recycled picture frame with the back already removed, so I added a very heavy duty piece of card to replace it. A few coats of gesso, and some Gelato colouring ...

Oh, and then I put a thick layer of TH Rock Candy crackle paste all over the frame.
I used that lovely leaf stamp (from Rubber Dance) ... stamped and embossed it many times, and then coloured the white background with watercolours, Gelatos and Twinkling H20s!

Lots of fussy cutting then, which I don't mind ... sort of relaxing in a weird way! And then played with where they should be placed :) Oh, and there's a few dies cuts too, a tree and picket fence and behind the tree is a thin layer - a recycled wipe thingy which I used to apply the Gelatos with! I stuck it down then hit it with my heat gun which made bits of it shrivel up ... cool!

  3. Love those leaves. This is so pretty. Love the tree and fence in the background. Great dimension. The leaves really give the impression of falling. Thanks for joining the Rubber Dance challenge. Hugz
