This is my mess and I can take a photo from any angle, but even I find this angle to be slightly disturbing, although I can't work out why this should be.
There's the previously lost box of Gelatos which has finally turned up. They were neatly placed at the very bottom of a large cardboard box with random knitting and wool on top. Very odd. Something else on my desk has only just reappeared too. I'm not saying what, but it comes under the heading of "Very Best Art Supplies to be Put Somewhere Really Safe" and it was, but do you think I could find it when I wanted it? Anyway, I'm keeping them both in plain sight for the time being :)
OK, so there's nothing of real interest to see above, but I did play with new stash (Ken Oliver's Color Bursts) the other day and it was rather fun. You could have a little look at the post below and see what you think :)
I'll visit some other desks later and hopefully catch up with you too. For all the details on how to join in with this Wednesday desk watching just visit Julia at The Stamping Ground.

I've just popped over to Sandra's blog and had to come back to show you what's on my desk. My "real" genuine, proper desk, that is :) Now that's Serendipity, isn't it?
Hi, looks like we are all waiting to link up :0 Now that is serendipitous and we didn't even chat before posting. Hopefully for a special occasion?? Forgot to mention Liz's class ... The amount of detail she provides is intense but really valuable. I always need time to process and that is why I am day dreaming and doing flowers. Liz has a very quick sketch/paint approach but as she is an architect the foundation is always perfect. It has made me re look at how I draw the basics and that is a good thing. Love what you are doing with the colour bursts I could see myself getting into a real mess. Looking forward to lunch 4th Nov. or 11th are good for me.

Ooops have I missed your birthday again??
ReplyDeletegorgeous flowers, and I love your desk full of loveliness - but your link takes you to an older desk post... Helen 5.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I went to the wrong post. It was the one where we had been told about Eliza leaving us. Strange. Now I am wondering why your link sent me there. I do miss her.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, on to your real post. Gorgeous flowers although I cannot have hem in the house. Within minutes my voice starts to disappear and my breathing becomes laboured. Such a shame as they are beautiful flowers.
I see you have some lovely Spellbinders on there amidst the other crafty goodness - enjoy!
Hugs, Neet 13 xx
Oh, that's ok Ros...I feel like an imposter all the time! Especially recently when I've not had much to show by the way of crafting :-). Gorgeous lilies, I love the look of them but can't tolerate the perfume, too heady for me! But then I'm weird because I can't tolerate wearing perfume either...I must have an odd sense of smell!!

Hi Ros - quite often put things away in a safe spot but those darn desk fairies move them but must say I'm loving the look of those dies on your desk...great stash of new goodies and those lillies are just beautiful. Have a great week, cheers RobynO#25
ReplyDeleteLots going on and beautiful flowers. Take care Zo xx 32
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, Rosa! You want to keep your house tidy, so you put things away, only to never to find them again! Happens to me all the time! So annoying! I end up looking for stuff for hours, then I give up and find find it quite by chance a few days/weeks/months later. Glad it's not just me! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #36
ReplyDeleteOhh I can almost smell those lilies, Rosa, they are beautiful. I just adore them and isn't it funny that Sandra had a painting of white ones on her desk. Such a pity that we have to wait a whole year nearly before the lilies will be flowering in the garden here.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who lives with a chaotic desk!!!
Have a good week.
