WOYWW multi tasking ... or some of this, some of that

I've been finishing those cards from last week and really, I can't think what to do with them apart from just layer them up - my usual cardmaking approach. (When two layers don't look right, just add another!)  But I still have the usual winter affliction of wishing I was still at the snow, so I've started another ski beanie, being hopeful that another trip to said snow is not entirely out of the question :)

Of course, I'm not actually standing here and knitting but it was a convenient place to drop it, in between "other stuff"!  Maybe you'd like to see a close-up ... ?

To see lots and lots of desks, in various stages of art, craft and general creativity, tidy or messy, you should really visit Julia. You won't be disappointed :)

(BTW, in case you missed them, there are some snow scenes below.
And some more above :)

WOYWW I told you there might be some free time

and there was.
So, what you can see on my workspace is the results of a little play day while resting from the strenuous sport of skiing :) (Oh, and I am still attempting to upload some photos, see post below, if you are interested in having a look at snow in Australia.)

And I finally remembered to extract my WOYWW badge from it's very safe resting place!
Hope to catch you real soon!
WOYWW comes to you courtesy of Julia at her Stamping Ground.

WOYWW weekend away

So all that you can see on my workspace today is a small box of supplies that I took away on the weekend and now I must sort it out before anything else can happen here.

It's the box on the right which is being unpacked.  The orange one has Distress Ink Pads and Distress Stains in it and I have a feeling I am soon going to need a bigger box for them. Some Stampscape play happened on the weekend. You can see some on the orange box, so maybe I will finish these and show you next week, or even sooner.
This is my "desk". What's on yours?
Julia will show you what's on hers.
Don't forget, I am happy to trade extra ATCs on the WOYWW Anniversary.

WOYWW landscape stamping

In my crafty, chaotic world, it's often a choice between "craft time" or "computer time" and lately "craft time" has been winning. So, here's a little of what I've been doing in the last week or so ...

... playing with some Stampscapes and other scenic type stamps.
Now, why am I showing you this scene of crafty chaos? Pop over to Julia at the Stamping Ground and she will explain all ... I'm too busy colouring in.

And now, because I know so many of my WOYWW friends hail from the UK, I am wondering if anyone has the free stamp from UK Craft Stamper (Sept 2012, shown below) which they perhaps don't want and would be willing to let me have?

WOYWW Scenic stamping

Here we are again, back in blogland. Where did that week go? Still playing with those (borrowed) Stampscapes and a few of my own which I bought on ebay as part of a mixed bag of unmounted stamps  (ages ago, and had forgotten about. I didn't even know what they were supposed to be until I actually stamped them, so that was a nice surprise!)

As you can see, I have the Australian Merinos skiing on some very un-Australian background.

And here's one where I was trying to use as many stamps as possible ...

Do you like those menacing clouds?
I think this slight obsession with scenic stamping will wear off shortly.

Must hurry. If you would like to see more interesting desks than this one, go visit Julia.
Catch you next time!

WOYWW Stampscapes, scenery and snow

At last, a few moments to catch up with the wonderful world of workdesks on Wednesday, which is brought to you by Julia at the Stamping Ground.

Here is today's desk for your perusal ...

As you can see, nothing much happening, just rearranging the deckchairs ...
There's a stampscapes scene (my first), some lovely, lovely lace from Sandra and lots and lots and lots of seam binding that can be coloured in many ways and will last foreevvvveeer. Oh, and some new Chalkboard mists.  A friend gave me a "Stampscapes lesson" last week. She did the scene and then I had a go ... (on the left) ...

If, by any chance, you wondered where I have been ...

Must rush, need to see what everyone else is up to.
